Mediation and negotiation

We focus on the needs of our clients from the perspective of a business partner. We have won many cases without engaging them in litigation, using high-level negotiation techniques. We have negotiated many complex international contracts.

We participated in designing the organizational and legislative framework for mediation in civil and commercial cases, and we participated in the work of the Civic Council for ADR matters at the Ministry of Justice.

We have built a strong team of experienced business mediators, and the quality of our work and extensive negotiation experience have allowed us to earn recognition among corporate clients as well as courts and tribunals. This is evidenced by our participation in over 100 business mediations (private and judicial, national and international) as both mediators and attorneys. Our lawyers are assessors of Certifying Institutions as part of the Integrated Qualifications Register (in the scope of business mediation).

Representative experience

Represented the organizer in negotiation of contracts for the organization of the World Judo Championships (2020)
Represented a few dozen companies active in the laboratory industry in their settlement discussions with a trade fair organizer (in relation to cancellation of the event due to the COVID-19 pandemic)
Negotiated (in private mediation) a settlement agreement between a Polish distributor and a U.S. manufacturer of sports equipment
Negotiated an international franchise agreement with Marriott International

Negotiated a settlement agreement with Lockheed Martin Corporation regarding performance of the F-16 aircraft sales agreement and offset agreement signed with the Polish Government
Represented an electricity producer in negotiations, which ended with settlement, with the President of the Energy Regulatory Office concerning the so-called stranded costs
Represented an undertaking active in the electronic industry in negotiations regarding an infringement of personal interests in the nationwide edition of a TV news programme; the outcome was settlement
