In yesterday’s judgment, the Court of Appeal in Warsaw upheld an unprecedented total ban on the publication and distribution of the defamatory novel.
The Court of Appeal also upheld the order to make an apology, including an explicit admission that the book in question contained false information about the Greenland expedition and the moral and professional qualifications of our Clients, and awarded them financial compensation.
In this unique trial we represented Eliza Kubarska and Dawid Kaszlikowski (a married couple of well-known mountaineers and artists).
