Earlier today, Chambers Europe, an international ranking of law firms and individual lawyers, published its 2020 ranking. Like in the previous years, our law firm and individual lawyers were recognized in this international ranking based largely on clients’ opinions.
We were ranked in the following practice areas:
- Energy & Natural Resources (Band 3)
- Tax (Band 3)
In addition, the following lawyers were recognized individually:
- Energy & Natural Resources: Igor Muszyński (Band 1) and Przemysław Kałek (Band 4)

Dorota Szubielska has a depth of expertise in tax litigation, representing clients from across a range of sectors. Clients laud her as an “absolute star in tax law on the market.” She represents clients before the courts and the Constitutional Tribunal.
Piotr Karwat works frequently with energy, manufacturing and real estate companies, with a strong focus on tax litigation, including VAT mandates. One client notes that he offers “detailed explanations.” He is also noted for his academic background.
Igor Muszyński is a market-leading energy practitioner, advising clients on renewables as well as conventional energy issues. “He is very experienced in energy. He is one of the most knowledgeable and experienced lawyers in town,” a source says. He represents clients in high-value regulatory disputes and also assists with transactional matters.
Przemysław Kałek focuses on regulatory issues in the energy sector, including energy trading contracts. He also assists with transactions, particularly in the renewables sector.
