We have played an active role in building the Polish sector of financial institutions and services: we participated in creating seven banks, advised on the IPO of the first privatized Polish bank, Bank Rozwoju Eksportu (currently mBank), entering the Warsaw Stock Exchange, participated in a number of bank mergers (including mergers of listed companies, i.e. BRE Bank and Polski Bank Rozwoju) and advised major insurance companies on their market entry in Poland. Currently, our practice focuses on advising financial institutions, borrowers, sponsors and issuers on financing transactions. Our clients include leading banks on the Polish market, as well as entities active in sectors such as real estate, packaging, fuel, conventional and renewable energy and many others. Our extensive experience, commitment and, consequently, our long-term successful client relationships are reflected in the recognitions and listings of our practice and lawyers in international legal publications such as Legal500 and IFLR1000.

Advised Polchar Sp. z o.o. and its affiliates in connection with the financing provided by one of major Polish banks for current operations, future investments, refinancing of the existing financing and in connection with a factoring agreement
Advised a consortium of Polish and foreign banks in connection with PLN 330 million financing granted to Sokołów S.A. for operating activity
Advised EDP Renewables Polska Sp. z o.o. in connection with PLN 301 million financing of a wind project provided by the EBRD
Represented Zespół Elektrowni Pątnów-Adamów-Konin S.A., a power generating facility, in a project finance transaction related to the development of a 464 MW power unit (Pątnów II Project) and in connection with refinancing of the above investment facility with a EUR 240 million loan granted by a consortium of leading Polish banks and the EBRD
