Our experience in mergers and acquisitions, de-mergers, joint ventures, privatizations, equity investments and public offerings goes back to the time of transformation of the Polish economy. This has been the main area of our practice and our primary focus from the very beginning.
In the early days of Poland’s new era in the 1990s, we provided legal assistance in the first acquisitions of Polish enterprises by international investors, in their greenfield projects, and their privatization-related restructurings of enterprises in financial distress. We also advised on a number of capital market transactions including privatizations.
Since the transactions we worked on were usually very complex in legal and economic terms, from the beginning our practice has been known for its pioneering approach. This approach has prompted us to be creative and apply unconventional legal structures and solutions which often looked beyond the transaction standards prevailing at that time.
This pioneering approach is our feature still today. As a result, in addition to general support in the area of commercial law, our lawyers excel in structuring and implementing complex projects, and designing M&A strategies in domestic and cross-border transactions, including highly complex reorganizations of group structures.
