We advised ORLEN Wind 3 on the purchase from EDP Renewables Polska of 3 operating wind farms with a total capacity of 142 MW and additional photovoltaic capacity being developed through cable pooling. This is one of the largest transactions on the Polish renewable energy market in recent times. Legal advice throughout the process was provided by our Firm’s lawyers – the energy team was led by Przemysław Kałek, Joanna Jabłońska was responsible for due diligence, and Agnieszka Piasecka was in charge of the transactional part.
Also involved in the project, at various stages, were: Joanna Nowak-Paradowska, Martyna Kamińska-Tabaka, Aleksandra Mikołajczyk-Bonarek, Katarzyna Bęczkowska, Jan Antepowicz, Olga Ostrowska, Radosław Dubieszko, Martyna Dyga-Mróz and Edward Bielinski.
Legal counsel to EDP Renewables Polska was DLA Piper.
